The concert will present the compositions of
the Trinities of Carnatic Music
and Sangeetha Kalarathna Sarojini Sundaresan.

Venue: Ashmore Auditorium, Pensacola Junior College 1000 College Blvd., Pensacola  
Mrs. Leela R. Rao will present a brief introduction on Classical Indian Carnatic Music.

Dr. Hedi Salanki - Harpsichord
Sarah Bassa - Violin  
George Neidorf - Percussion

•    Sarojini Sundaresan is one of the most prominent practising artists of Carnatic music and lives in the UK. She is the Dean of RaagaLaya Foundation, UK. She has sung in famous concert platforms in several countries. She belongs to the Alathur style, which is popular for its richness in rhythm and traditional and innovative presentation of tunes. Sarojini has been presented and interviewed by leading television networks in the UK, Europe and India. She is also a very notable composer and teaches students from various nationalities.
•    Leela Rammohan Rao is the daughter and disciple of Sarojini Sundaresan. She has been trained in the art by her mother since childhood and has accompanied her mother in all her concerts and also has given several solo concerts. Apart from being a trained classical vocalist, Leela is also a talented classical Indian dancer and has performed widely. She is a Portfolio Manager by profession, and is the President of GoodWin Asset Management, Inc. She lives in Pensacola and is the wife of Dr.Rammohan S Rao.
•    Hedi Salanki earned a Doctorate in Harpsichord Performance from the Juilliard School, as well as degrees and diplomas from the Liszt Academy, the Bartok Conservatory and Rutgers University. She has performed in various international arenas. She has appeared with numerous symphony groups and Baroque chamber ensembles. She has recorded music for variety of classics and popular music. The wife of Pensacola Symphony Music Director Peter Rubardt, Ms. Salanki is on the faculty of the University of West Florida.
•    Sarah Bossa iis a senior student in music performance major at the University of West Florida. She is a member of the Pensacola Symphony and performs with various ensembles around Pensacola.
•    George Neidorf Drummer, percussionist has played in the U.S., Europe and Asia with orchestras, ballet and opera companies, jazz and ethnic ensembles and the Moscow Circus. He lives in Northwest Florida and is currently studying Karnatic drumming.

While the organisers propose equal distribution among the chosen charities, donors can nominate the country.
